Summary
So last saturday the new episode of Legend of Korra came out. So for anyone not up to speed, Korra lets Mako, Bolin, and Asami stay with her after the whole incident with Asami's father and the equalists. They move in and Asami finds out that Korra likes Mako but that wasnt very important in the episode and will probaly come back again another episode. Korra meets with Council man Tarlok after officially appointing the new head of security( Bei Fong quit to be able to pursue Amon without the restrictions of law) who said that he would work under and for Tarlok. Korra and tarlok dispute about the task force which leads Korra to create her own task force that consists of her, bolin, mako asami, and their "mascot" pabu. After a few instances of success for "Team Avatar", Tarlok declares and order to instate a curfew to prevent equalist movements. The police force ends up capturing a large group of non benders claiming that they were accused of equalist movement. Team Avatar arrives on the scene to stop it immediately but then Tarlok arrests Bolin, Mako, and Asami and takes them to jail. Korra tries different tactis to free her friends but to no avail. Eventually korra sneaks out of Air temple island and into Tarlok's estate. Once there she and Tarlok have a brief dispute before a fight breaks out (For the record, technically it is Tarloks fault since he did throw the first "swing"). As the fighting intensifies Korra begins to gain an advantage before Tarlok is lieng on his knees in defeat. Then as Korra prepared for her final blow Tarlok immediatly gains control of Korra using the rare waterbending technique known as Bloodbending. We first saw Bloodbending in the episode of Avatar the last airbender known as "The Puppetmaster" where the old Team Avatar met Hamu, who turned out to be a crazy lady that tried to teach Katara bloodbending against her will and succeeded after Katara used bloodbending, as it was the only way to prevent Hamu from killing Aang and Sokka. Katara also uses bloodbending in the episode "The Southern Raiders" where she uses it to subdue the captain out of her own free will. Katara is known to be an amazingly powerful waterbender and bloodbender, although as she was a healer Katara knew an extensive amount of knowledge about the human body which made bloodbending very easy for her. Yet through all this information she still was not seen bloodbending without a full moon, where water benders are at their strongest. Tarlok used bloodbending on Korra and she remarks "How can you bloodbend without a full moon?". Then after Korra is locked up, Tarlok states that she will be locked away where she cannot be found.
My Opinion
After watching this episode so many things were running through my mind. In this episode Milo was very funny like when he started hitting on Asasmi (Milo is the little airbender child of Tenzen that looks really funny). Korra's feelings for Mako are revealed to Asasmi by the most anti climactic way, which is Tenzen's daughter (the calm one) says it out aloud to Asami in front of her and Korra. This only addresed once later when she glares at Korra and Mako. On the more important side like I said Tarlok gets a stick up his ass and becomes a dick and goes harassing nonbenders proving Amon right. Things go to shit, team avatar gets arrested and then we skip to when Korra goes to talk with Tarlok. Conversation is basically Korra getting anrgy then she says "You are just as bad as Amon." Then you see like Tarlok's inner self like break and he loses it and launches the starting attack on the battle. This battle made me lose my SHIT cause the fuckin the fuckin battle's crazyness level is OVER 9,000. Like Tarlok made a bubble and he like jabbed the bubble and each jab shot out like ice crystals so Korra was like matrixing these like 10,000 crystals flieng everywhere. Then the battle goes on and we find out Tarlok can bloodbend and I was like THE FUCK........? WHERE the.... WHAT the ............ IDIDIDLEDel LEDEL LEDEL!!!!!!!!! Katara was the motherfuckin like waterbending master and even she needed the full moon to bloodbend while Tarlok beat Korra and no full moon. Then a new flashback was revealed where you see this guy (that i thought looked like Tarlok) in the court was bloodbending first sokka, then toph, then even aang. And then tarlok mentions that korra will be locked away where she cannot be found. Then the episode finished and my mind exploded. So a few things:
1) WHEN THE FUCK WILL AND AVATAR BE ABLE TO BEND THE LIKE WIERD ELEMENTS such as Bloodbend, metalbend, and lightning. Like seriously what the fuck, do you know how many times that they could have been saved if korra knew any of those.
2) Where is bei fong? I miss her. BABY COME BACK. You can blame it all on Tarlok. He is a dick and i could live without him.
I miss AMon cause he is a better and cooler villain than tarlok who is just a dick. I want to see how korra gets saved cause i think we will get a shocker in the next. And I hope that like we find out who is in the vision and I hope that like maybe tenzen reveals a power special to airbenders, like bloodbending to waterbending and that Korra learns airbending and the special bending. Anyways thats what i thought and I will probaly post again after this saturday when the new episode drops. Also lot of teenage girls in avatar are smoking hot and milo looks like a fetus but i love him.
